Weekend 2-3/3/2024 09:00 AM Event: (Bus Leaves 09:00 AM (Saturday) – Arrives 12:00AM

This weekend we are going for a rafting and camping event in Duzce city near the famous Melen River, The bus will be picking up people in the European side from around Mecdiyekoy, and for the people living in the Asian side will be waiting for people to come to Harem as the bus will wait for people there. 

Cost of the Event:

The event will include the cost of the bus, the rafting trip and Dinner on Saturday night (Dinner and Snacks), Two meals for Sunday (Breakfast and Lunch)

The cost per person would be 2200 TL

Rafting 

Rafting distance is about 12 kms, in between we will stop the boat! We will be given thermal suits and helmets with paddles . each boat can take only 8 people + rafting guide. 

Difficulty:

Depending on the wind and the river current speed, but the river is considered to be 3 level difficulty in this season which should be normal! The general hight of the river is 1.5 meters high but can be deep as certain spots.

Bus will pick up people from Mecdiyekoy Moda at 09:45 AM as bus will leave 09:00 AM sharp and will head towards Uskudar (Harem Iskelesi) to pick people who are coming from the Asian side.

Food and Tea

We are going to stop with the bus at some of the shopping chains (BIM, Şok ..etc) and do shopping for everyone, however we are going to divide this trip’s food groups into 3 teams, each team will consist of 5 people who share common or similar taste or requirements. also to easily manager food with smaller groups.  

Abood will be bringing the big Tea Put, and I will bring with me the usual tea, coffee that we make during our hikes.

If you would you can bring snacks for the road, as it might take 3 hours by bus.

Required Gear for Camping:

1- Tent

2- Mat

3- Sleeping Bag.

4- Warm clothes.

5- Hiking shoes.

6- Cup for coffee and tea. 

2- Hiking Sticks if possible (Optional). 

Attending: 

Anyone can attend, the minimum age for this event is 18. but if you have cold, or sick we don’t recommend you join this event. 

Note: In order to attend, we’ll have to take money in advance from you, as the agreement with the bus is ! 

Cancellation

Cancellations won’t be compensated unless all mandatory costs are covered.
