Weekend 14/6/2024 10:00 PM Event: (Cars Leaves 10:30 PM (Friday night) – Arrives 12:30PM

This Friday night we are going to canyon to camp and on saturday morning we will start our hiking path into the canyon, considering the weather will be hot, we’ll most likely shower in the canyon and enjoy swimming. The Sansarak canyon is located in the middle between Iznik lake and the south of Kocaeli near the mountain areas. So we will be first leaving to the Canyon then on saturday after we finish our hike we’ll continue our way to the mountain to reach to the Kıranyurt yaylası. 

Canyon Info

Since we have never been to this canyon before, I don’t have much to tell you except what you can find online. so we will be discovering a new place all together.  

Difficulty:

Looking at the pictures posted online, I can tell the canyon looks easy in the start but it might need some swimming suite as it gets deeper on the way.

Drivers will provide their addresses so the people who are closer to them, so it will be easier to pick up and drop on the way back for both.

Food and Tea

To avoid delay please bring your food with you, snacks and water! we will also have to bring breakfast for the saturday morning so we don’t have to go shopping early morning .. After the hike in the canyon we will go for shopping for the camping.

Required Gear for Hiking:

  1. Rubber slippers or Sandals
  2. Hiking sticks (might be good in this hike if you have balancing issue)
  3. Swimming clothes (Backup clothes)
  4. Towel.
