Hiking in Kurtdogmus Village – 2nd Nov 2024

Our destination

This weekend we are going to a Kurtdoğmuş village, We’ll first meet in 132D bus station in Kartal, and wait until everyone is there then get on bus 132D to our last station which is Kurtdoğmuş Köyü.

Trekking Distance

Trekking distance will be 10-14 kms (Could be slightly shorter or longer) and will take about 5-6 hours including 1 hour for tea/food stop that’ll we do after we do our first 5-7 KMs and find a convenient place.

Difficulty:

We have been to this place last week, was muddy but although with lots of rain previous days it was not that muddy! the hike is most likely going to be easy, no heights or jumping between water canals or cross trees. Just get good hiking shoes as always.

We will meet in Kartal Sahil where the bus station will be on the opposite side of the sea. The meeting is near the Kartal bus station.

Transportation:

To come to Kurtdoğmuş Köyü, We will take a bus transportation after meeting in Kartal. The exact bus station where the bus leaves from is here

Food and Tea

I will bring a Tea / Teapot to make fire and tea during our hike, Please bring your cup with you and at least half liters of water.

Everyone is welcome to bring their own food or join us in a group to buy and share all together. There are probably about 2 shops in the village but can’t be sure they’d be open so please be prepared and bring your food with you.

Required Gear for Hiking:

1- Shoes that would get wet and not slippery on mud.

2- Hiking Sticks if possible (Optional).

Cost:

This event is organized at no Cost. it’s just to bring the beautiful people together.

Boat:

I am going to bring a boat with me, if anyone wants to enjoy boat paddling! The cost will be 150 TL per person for 30 mins.
