Weekend 08/6/2024 10:00 AM Event: (Saturday) – Arrival to Waterfall 12:00AM (120 min)

This weekend we are going to go to Doğançay (waterfall) which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls near Istanbul. Since the weather will be hot on weekend then hiking and swimming in a waterfall like this would be a great combination. Right after our hiking and swimming in the waterfall, we’ll be heading to the mountains to have a great view, fresh oxygen and lots of green around us.

The waterfall has a very beautiful natural pool where you can swim, Make sure you bring your swimming clothes, towel and extra clothes. 

 

Trekking Distance (8KMs total)

After we reach to the camping spot in the mountain, we will rest for the first day, plan a hiking next day after waking up and having a coffee. those early birds who like to walk will join the hike, the rest can remain in the camping spot.

Difficulty:

The difficulty level of this hike could be estimated to “Easy“. Since the hike distance is around 8-10 Kms with slight elevation on the way! The weather will be perfect for the hike since the elevation on this mountain is 1500m from sea level.

MEETING: (10:00 AM)

There will be two cars, One car will be leaving from Kartal! The other one will be leaving from the European side. Every person who is going with us will have to talk to the drivers to organize the meeting point and time but we are supposed to leave Istanbul at 10:00 – 10:15 AM Max.

Required Gear for Camping:

1- Sleeping bag ( at least -5 ) 

2- Sleeping Mat

3- Tent (2 layers if possible)

Cost of fuel, HGS and food will be shared after the trip.
