Weekend 17/8/2024 10:00 AM Event: (Cars Leaves 10:15 AM (Saturday Morning) – Arrives 12:30PM

This Saturday, we are planning to go swim in the waterfall, camp, watch the stars and play games and then on sunday go to the sea to swim. and play volleyball. We are going to first meet on Saturday morning, then head to waterfall called Kanlıçay Şelalesi, after the waterfall we will go for shopping then head straight to the camping location … Once we arrive we will be looking for a good camping spots that’s not windy yet have space for us to watch the sky and stars in the night..

MEETING: 10:00 AM)

Drivers will provide their addresses so the people who are closer to them, so it will be easier to pick up and drop on the way back for both.

Plateau information

Çiğdem Yaylası is a vast space that’s sitting between trees on top of a mountain in the region of Sakarya. it’s elevation is around 1450 M from sea level. It can be sometimes windy but since we will be looking for place surrounded by trees that shoud help in making it less windy. 

Hiking and Swimming Activity

During the two days camp we will have ability to swim in a waterfall and on sunday we will head to the sea to swim and play volleyball. We might have a hike in the waterfall but since it’s first time to this waterfall I am not sure how long it’ll be . 

 

Difficulty:

Can be considered between Easy to Medium.

Swimming Activity:

The hike and swimming activity will be for everyone, however we don’t know how long it’ll be since its the first time we visit this place. but if you’re coming I would recommend the swim part. 

Food and Tea

List of food can have more items or less, depending on who is going to be the Chef in the camp this weekend. 
 
Vegetables:
  1. Tomato (3 KG)
  2. Cucumber (2 KG)
  3. Onion (3 KG)
  4. Red Pepper (2 KG)

Breakfast:

  1. Eggs (30 Eggs)
  2. Jam
  3. Cheese (2-3 types)
  4. Bread (half count of attendees)

Fruits:

1- Apples.

2- Watermelon.

Required Gear for Hiking:

  1. Hiking shoes.
  2. Hiking sticks (Optional)
  3. Swimming clothes (depending on how cold the place is, and if it’s reachable for swimming). 
  4. Towel.

Required Gear for Camping: 

  1. Tent
  2. Mat
  3. Sleeping bag (0 degrees at least)
  4. Warm clothes (consider it winter season)

Cancellation

Cancellations won’t be compensated unless all mandatory costs are covered.
