Weekend 17-18-19/5/2024 08:00 PM Event: (Cars Leaves 08:30 PM (Saturday) – Arrives 10:30PM

This Friday we are going to camp in Karasu near a very beautiful canyon that is close to Istanbul, On friday night we will drive to a nice camping spot near that Canyon and camp there for the night. Then Saturday morning we’ll cook some breakfast and move on to start our hiking journey in the Canyon, The canyon has a very swimable area in the end of it. We will spend the day in the canyon and once we finish we will move to Duzce and on the way we’ll stop by Bim, or Şok to buy dinner and breakfast. then head to the camping location in Duzce so we can be close to the rafting location. Sunday morning we’ll visit the rafting center, get ourselves ready and then go for the rafting adventure. 

Costs

Rafting:

The cost per person would be 700TL

Rafting info:

Rafting distance is about 12 kms, in between we will stop the boat! We will be given thermal suits and helmets with paddles . each boat can take only 8 people + rafting guide. 

Camping:

We always try to seek a non paid place, we prefer to go for wild nature where there is more nature, no electricity, no phone signal so we can stay connected and socialize better.

Difficulty:

Depending on the wind and the river current speed, but the river is considered to be 3 level difficulty in this season which should be normal! The general hight of the river is 1.5 meters high but can be deep as certain spots.
